Dr Albert H K Hong Chairman
The Chairman of Global Reach Private Limited, he is also the well known Chairman and Managing Director of RSP Architects, Planners and Engineers Pte Ltd, a company he has grown since1978 and developed from its beginnings to a foremost leading architectural and engineering practice in Asia today, undertaking mega projects across the globe, changing skylines and landscapes in these numerous countries.
In 1980 Dr. Hong was conferred the Public Service Star (B.B.M) by the Government for his contribution to public housing.
In 1995, Dr. Albert Hong, an architect by profession awarded for 1994, the Businessman of the Year Award, presented to him by the then Prime Minister, Mr. Goh Chok Tong, with a citation that read as the following:
“To Dr. Albert Hong
For his vision and outstanding entrepreneurial ability in developing RSP from an architectural practice into a leading business of architects, planners and engineers and for his achievements as a professional turned businessman."
In 1996 Dr. Hong was conferred the Public Service Star (BAR)[B.B.M(L)] by the President of the Republic of Singapore for his contribution to the construction industry.
A leading personality in Singapore, Dr. Hong has held various Singapore government board appointments and continues to serve on several boards of leading Singapore companies.
